Clay County Health Department is the primary coordinating agency for the Public Health and Medical Services Emergency Support Function #8 of the Clay County All Hazard Comprehensive Emergency Management Plan. Developing processes to dispense medications to residents of the community within a short period of time; writing procedures for issuing orders of isolation and quarantine; providing education and promoting awareness for pandemic influenza and other public health emergency topics are some of the issues that are addressed in the planning process.

Once applications have been submitted for septic or well installations, the Environmental Health Specialist can provide the following services:
